The Association of Environmentalists MARE LIBERUM is a non-governmental organization created by young scientists and specialists in the field of environment, who have united to solve environmental problems and improve the quality of the environment.
The name of our organization comes from the title of the book of the same name by the Dutch lawyer and philosopher Hugo Grotius, and translated from Latin means "free sea".
Goal:
Protection and reproduction of the natural environment, satisfaction of ecological, social, creative and other human interests, ensuring the ecological rights of citizens.
Priorities:
environmental education and raising public awareness of the state of the environment, public health, existing environmental problems and ways to solve them;
expanding public participation in the formation and implementation of national environmental policy, involvement in the protection of their rights and freedoms;
dissemination and implementation of scientific knowledge;
assistance in intellectual, creative and spiritual development and realization of human potential;
involvement of scientists and specialists in environmental activities;
organization of public environmental monitoring of the state of the environment and control over compliance with environmental legislation;
expansion and protection of the nature reserve fund of Ukraine, promoting the development of national environmental policy.
